Hey friends! This is my first official post on my NEW and improved website! I’m super excited to start sharing more on each of my sessions. This first session is the perfect one to start with for my blog. Let’s dive in!

Quinceañera is a celebration of a girl’s 15th birthday. This special time is celebrating the passage from girlhood to womenhood. It’s also the first dance with her dad and a huge party for everyone to enjoy! I remember all the fun quinceañera memories from my childhood past. Even though I never had one (I chose a car instead) I remember them like it was yesterday. Having my dama dress altered to my height since I’m a shorty, getting an updo for my hair, dancing the night away, and having THE best time with my friends. 

Meet Leah. This gorgeous girl will be celebrating her quinceañera in April and I can’t wait to join the fun to reminisce of days past when I was a part of the corte de honor. I was honored to be a part of her quinceañera — just in a different form this time around.
